Ben plays drum kit, percussion, horn, sings in the background and does some MDing on the side.

It all started when he went along to Off the Rails creative jazz orchestra in Morecambe to try and play drum kit and was then moulded, groomed and shoe-horned into various tight fitting musical garments.

He currently works for the community music organization More Music in Morecambe where weeks are passed running streetbands, having face-offs with 8yr olds, hanging out with parents and toddlers, writing lists and bearing ill-judged grudges.

Spreading his spread even further he occasionally has the opportunity to get carried away on the drums with unashamed yet assuredly abashed folk-rockers The Pier Group.

Recently he's been saying, "yes" the results being playing horn in Robin Walker's "The Angel and the Shepherd Boy" as part of the Rosetta Requiem project; percussion in Howard Haigh's "Land of Light" with the Hertfordshire Chorus.
