Deep Cabaret Vox is a loose and growing collective of improvising vocalists, led by myself, committed to making collectively improvised vocal events. Though we began with the idea of improvising an opera what emerged seemed best described as 'improvatorio'. The current ACE, PRSF, LCC funded project Flocking allows us to continue expanding the form and the collective.   Deep Cabaret Vox   involves the likes of Phil Minton, Maggie Nicols and Cleveland Watkiss as well as Beth Allen, Steve Boyland, Ali Rigg, Amy Rome, Wayne Ellington, Rachel Healey, Jilly Jarman, Mary Keith, Bob Lockwood, Ben McCabe, Mary Oliver and Sue Parish.
