The first Deep Cabaret Vox project   premiered in 2006   at Lancaster Jazz Festival,   with myself alongside voice mistress Beth Allen , internationally renowned performance artist Mary Oliver and Jazz Warriors alumni Cleveland Watkiss   with Stephen and Nicholas Grew of Grutronic on keyboards and electronics.

Four singers open their mouths and voice their secret places. Soon these very secret places sound their own desires. Until we hear those very desires voice their own secret places in songs unheard till this moment. Cante Jondo. Eventually, inevitably, a place, a secret, a desire resonates deep inside and you, the audience, hear the sound of your own voice singing you. Cante Jondo.
